The man behind our life – Nikola tesla

Right now, we all using our phones while sitting under the fan and lights. Which is possible by the world forgotten man – Nikola tesla

Nikola tesla :

Nikola tesla(1856 – 1943) was a Serbian-American visionary inventor and engineer made significant contribution to electrical power and radio communication . mainly important morden things like AC current, induction motor, radio control and much more.In 1985, tesla set up laboratories and companies in New York to develop a range of electrical and mechanical devices. Tesla invented the induction motor which was patented by a company earned him a considerable amount of money which he used the most of money for his next inventions.

Greatest inventions :

  Alternating Current (AC) :

Direct current flows continuously in one direction which makes them very hard to transfer long distances. Alternating current changes direction 50 or 60 times per second and can be stepped up to vary high voltage levels, minimizing power loss across great distances. Now days we ‘all using the alternating current in our home invented by Tesla. Which people all over the world gets electricity and that’s why our society grows much faster.

  Induction Motor :

A electric motor basically works on passing current to the rotor between two magnets which having two opposite pole sides but in induction motor the torque produced in the rotor obtained by the stator winding therefore an induction motor needs no electrical connections to the rotor.

Tesla’s induction motor currently powers everyday household items such as vacuums, hairdryers, power tools and even tesla cars also uses induction motors.

  Remote or wireless control :

Tesla built an wirelessly controlled boat when he was exhibited his boat , most of the people thought that was a magic or a monkey is inside the boat controlling the boat according to tesla instructions because that’s the first time they were seeing something that can be controlled by wireless remote.

  Wardenclyffe tower :

In 1893,Tesla tried to put some ideas to practical use in his unfinished Wardenclyffe Tower project, an intercontinental wireless communication and power transmitter, but ran out of funding before he couldn’t complete it. If that was successful that is the best invention that take mankind to the another level

Tesla vs. Edison :

The Tesla vs. Edison rivalry was a pivotal moment in electrical history, known as the War of the Currents. Nikola Tesla championed alternating current (AC), which proved more efficient for long-distance power transmission, while Thomas Edison stood for direct current (DC). Despite initial opposition, Tesla’s AC system became the standard for electrification, impacting society by expanding electricity into homes and industries. Today, both are remembered for their lasting legacies in electrical engineering.

Recognition for him :

Tesla’s old age was marked by financial difficulties and a lack of recognition for his contributions. Despite his significant achievements, he struggled financially and lived in relative obscurity.

Tesla Depended on the support of friends and acquaintances for basic needs. In 1943, at the age of 86, Tesla died alone in his hotel room. His passing didn’t receive the immediate recognition that his contributions warranted, and it took time for his legacy to be fully appreciated. Despite the difficulties he faced in his later years, Tesla’s impact on modern technology and society is now widely acknowledged and celebrated. But still most of the people don’t know the contribution of tesla for sacrifice his life for electrical engineering and invention

"Its our duty to appreciate these peoples who are sacrificing their life to make the world better."
